HERO KIDS: the future of mountain biking!

An event within an event. This is a non- competitive event, created with the aim of ensuring even younger bikers can experience the passion of the BMW HERO Südtirol Dolomites. It will take place at 3 p.m. on Friday, 11 June 2021. The HERO KIDS is meant for children between 4 and 12 to test their skills on their mountain bike on a route developed around the village of Selva di Val Gardena. Every participant will receive a welcome pack containing an Alé-HERO jersey.

HERO: passion, sports, and sustainability

The BMW HERO Südtirol Dolomites’ success is undoubtedly tied to the location where it has been taking place from the very first edition: the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The mountains are breathtakingly beautiful and appreciated in all their facets. And, as such, they need to be protected. The Organising Committee has decided to create strategies and initiatives, besides the already existing ones, to make the event completely sustainable in the long-term. This is a gigantic effort which includes many areas: waste management, recycling and reusing waste, promoting e-mobility during the event, using local products, sourcing Zero KM food and much more. An ambitious goal which requires a lot of effort, dedication, and a rock-solid belief in the project. In other words, everything needed to cross the BMW HERO Südtirol Dolomites’ finishing line.
