Harefield Hall
Harefield Hall is a small family run business, offering four star accommodation and wedding reception venue in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. This beautiful building once belonged to the Archbishop of York and is rumoured to have once belonged to King Henry VIII. Harefield Hall is set amongst 28 acres of woodland in beautiful Nidderdale, North Yorkshire.
A 10 minute stroll takes you to the heart of Nidderdale, the bustling market town of Pateley Bridge. Nidderdale boasts many striking natural features such as Howstean Gorge, Brimham Rocks and Gritstone Cliffs making this area of outstanding natural beauty a must see for any visitors to the Dales.
The Way of the Roses is a relatively new coast to coast cycle route from Morecambe on the north west coast of the UK to Bridlington in the east, taking in some of the most stunning and breathtaking scenery along the way. It is a challenging route consisting of a variety of terrain including traffic-free paths, on-road cycle lanes, country lanes and quieter roads.
Way of the Roses cycle route has 170 miles of the finest views that Yorkshire and Lancashire have to offer, taking in the Lune Valley, Yorkshire Dales, glorious Nidderdale and the Yorkshire Wolds.
The route can take anything from 2 days for the keen and able cyclist, to a week for those with a more leisurely pace in mind.
