Harley Davidson to Release Limited Number of their Stunning Serial 1 e-Bikes

Serial 1 to Produce S1 MOSH/TRIBUTE Models

Serial 1, which is a branch of Harley Davison that specialises in electric bikes, has revealed that it plans to release a limited number of their breathtaking S1 MOSH/TRIBUTE models in Europe and the US to the general public.

Having first unveiled a prototype towards the end of 2020, the company released several varying models all with similar frames, but they lacked the exquisite details and overall flamboyancy of the ‘Serial Number One’, which is a nod to Harley Davidson’s first ever motorcycle designed in the early 1900’s.

Now, after revealing at the Electrify Expo in California that a near identical model will be released , Serial 1 will produce just 650 individual units of S1 MOSH/TRIBUTE electric bicycles, split evenly among the US and European markets. Deliveries are expected to commence in Q4 of this year.

As Serial 1’s Brand Director Aaron Frank explained:

“When Serial 1 launched in October 2020, the first e-bike shown to the public was a stunning prototype drawn from the vintage motorcycle that inspired the creation of the Serial 1 e-bike brand. We are thrilled now to offer a limited-edition that so faithfully captures the iconic look and feel of that first prototype, and to use this moment as a springboard to launch our S1 Series that will see even more exclusive and highly-desirable Serial 1 eBike models in the future.”

As pictured below, the S1 MOSH/TRIBUTE is laboriously considered from front to back and top to bottom. It boasts a thick, sturdy frame finished in a coating of luxurious glossy black, which is accentuated by the brass features and unusual white tyres.

As well as this, it has Brose mid-drive motor, Gates carbon belt drive, TRP hydraulic disc brakes and the front shield and rear dropouts both house built-in frame-integrated lighting. There’s also an extra bright headlight mounted on the handlebars that was designed in-house by Serial 1’s engineers. Our personal favourite feature is the steel spring that sits underneath the leather seat for a sturdy yet forgiving ride, and it captures the essence of its original inspiration from the very first company motorcycle.
