Trek-Segafredo and Santini Partner for a Fifth Year

Trek-Segafredo have revealed their latest design for the upcoming season, with iconic Italian cycling brand Santini supplying both the men’s and the women’s team with their kits.

Both of the American WorldTour teams will don similar kits for the first time, with the men’s design similar to that of the previous season with the iconic red stripe across the chest, while the women will wear the same design but with a sky blue band.

Both kits have navy blue shorts with corresponding trims relating to the coloured band across the torso.

Santini, as with all of their recent product releases, have placed a large emphasis on utilising sustainable and eco-friendly materials. The new official jersey is made from not one but two fabrics; Ecofabric RECY by Corno, which, as the names suggests, is an eco-friendly product made from recycled yarn from discarded materials.

The other is Sitip’s Native – Ecoknit, also made from recycled fibres and yarns and ascent of polluting, harmful chemicals. This is all with the focus on reducing consumption of natural resources and switching the dependency to renewable methods.

All of the kits supplied to the team are packaged in the TIPA compostable bags Santini has been using since January of this year.

As well as designing the racing kits, Santini have also been tasked with producing Trek-Segafredo’s latest training kit, which is designed with maximum visibility in mind.

The bold, fluorescent shirt is a vibrant grenadine pink which will certainly help the riders stand out while on the road.
