Carrygerry is a Charming “Old World” Country House, full of History, which was built in 1793, near Shannon, in the Scenic County Clare in the West of Ireland, just off the Wild Atlantic Way Drive.
Although less then 10 minutes from Shannon International Airport, you will experience a Country House atmosphere of peace & tranquillity, with antique furnishings & glowing fires.
With 11 elegant guest rooms between our main house and courtyard, all individually styled, varying in size, with antique furnishings, some having four poster beds in keeping with the character of this fine old country house. Whether you choose to use Carrygerry as a base to explore the Shannon Region or as a first or last night stayover, we are ideally situated not only close to Shannon International Airport (10 minutes), but the wonderful market town of Ennis, the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren.
We are fortunate to have some of the finest golf Courses the West of Ireland can offer in very close proximity, Shannon, Lahinch, Adare, Doonbeg & Dromoland to name but a few. The medieval Castles in both Bunratty and Limerick are an enjoyable way to spend a leisurely afternoon.
