The Sun Inn is a beautiful 15th Century pub in the heart of the historic town of Clun, South Shropshire. A grade two listed building, the Inn is of cruck construction with a wealth of exposed oak beams and original charm. Our accommodation includes two double en-suite bedrooms and one twin room in the Old Stable Block which is quietly situated at the rear of the inn. The farm itself is situated down a one mile tree-lined drive, with the farmhouse being located in the corner of the 150 acre dog-leg clearing. Bordered by Thetford Forest and the gentle meandering Little Ouse River, the farm is an oasis of peace and tranquility far removed from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
We have created a highly successful conservation area within the fields, in which a large number of skylarks and other ground nesting birds can regularly be seen.
The farm is a working farm with pigs, as well as a livery yard. The farmhouse, buildings and stables are surrounded by meadows, paddocks and fields put down to grass for hay making.
Guests can expect a warm welcome to this Grade II listed hotel and enjoy delicious home-cooked food in the contemporary surroundings of The Greyhound Inn Restaurant or in the informal setting of the bar or lounge. As well as serving real ale, the bar and Lounge also offers a wide variety of bar snacks from 12 noon until 2pm. Coffee and refreshments are available throughout the day and into the evening, with dinner served from 7pm.
Rose Cottage is approaching her 200th birthday and
is a picturesque Yorkshire stone cottage in the heart
of the North Yorkshire Moors. Located in the village
of Goathland, famous for its Heartbeat and Harry
Potter connections it is a Grade II listed gem with
wood burning stoves, original features and an
enclosed cottage garden.
The cottage itself is just a short stroll away from the
village shops and tea rooms and there are three pubs
within ten minutes walk which all offer evening meals.
There is an enclosed garden around the cottage, a
patio area with outdoor seating and a BBQ for the

We are located almost midway between Cowes and Sandown on the Cowes-Sandown off road cycle route and the island bus network radiates from Newport making return or recovery via public transport viable.
A pleasant circular route for families in Summer is to cycle to Wootton and then take the steam train to Smallbrook Junction – the train has a traditional guard’s van and welcomes cyclists – and then the Island Line comprising old London Tube trains to Ryde and thereafter return from Ryde – Newport via the cycleway which is mainly off-road.
The island is also signposted clockwise and anticlockwise for the Round the Island cycle route.
Old Church House is an Edwardian Villa built in 1901 and has been our home and Bed and Breakfast since 2010 when we completed the renovations. We have three en-suite rooms comprising a family room, a twin and a smaller double room. All rooms are spacious, fresh and simply furnished.
