BIKE Festival in Riva and Willingen postponed to the 2nd half of 2021
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the 27 edition of the FSA BIKE Festival Garda Trentino and the 23 Continental BIKE Festival Willingen will be postponed.
Looking at the still tense situation, it is already foreseeable that a realisation of the two events with several tens of thousands of visitors in April/May will not be possible. The new date for the BIKE Festival in Riva is October 15-17. The BIKE Festival in Willingen will take place from August 27-29
Bielefeld, February 02. While the BIKE Festival at Lake Garda in Riva has traditionally opened the mountain bike season in May for more than 25 years, the BIKE Festival Willingen in spring has attracted thousands of visitors for more than two decades with the largest outdoor expo in Germany. The decision to move the two major festivals in time to the second half of the year is intended to offer participants and visitors the greatest possible planning security.
“We are very positive that the situation in late summer/fall will again allow us to experience two great festival weekends together with numerous mountain bike fans,” says Linda Schroeder, event manager of the organizing publishing company Delius Klasing. “We are in very close exchange with our partners in Riva and Willingen as well as the local authorities to take all necessary steps to ensure that the two BIKE Festivals can take place later this year.”
