Restrap Bar Bags Are an Elegant Storage Solution

Yorkshire based company Restrap, who are renowned for their rackless bikepacking storage bags that attach to any bike model, have released their latest product in a long line of innovation.

Their best-selling product, the bar bag, offers a practical and elegant solution to storage while out on two wheels. For those looking to take everything but the kitchen sink with them on their rides, Restrap is an ideal and hassle free luggage solution for bikepacking, touring or commuting on road, gravel and mountain bikes.

With no special tools, rack or tailored mount required, the bar bag attaches to any bike within a matter of steps.

Coming in a larger 17L model as well as the smaller 14L capacity, both bags now offer an upgraded handlebar attachment, utilising spring-loaded cam lock buckles for simple and secure attachment.

They remain tape-sealed and equipped with a 100% waterproof 6oz nylon 14L Double Roll Dry Bag. As well as this, included are foam spacers, that allow you to ride on the tops and fit lights or other handlebar accessories.

The smaller 14L bag is priced at a competitive £99.99, and is designed for those looking for handlebar storage without compromising the room for attachments such as bike computers. There is enough clearance either side for said attachments or variable hand space, while an elastic drawcord on the top of the holster allows for quick and easy stowage on the move.

The larger 17L bag, which retails for £119.99, features all the same components of its smaller counterpart, but with an added removable 3L food pouch held in place with Fidlock fittings. There is also a new Hypalon retention system for extra security on rough terrain. Due to its larger frame, it does take up more space on the handlebars and offers less clearance underneath. However, depending on the handlebar size, there may be enough room for attachments.
