Shimano 24 Hours Cycling of Le Mans Is Cancelled Due To COVID

The organiser has just been told that due to the progress of the health crisis, the Sarthe Prefect cancelled the event, scheduled for 22nd and 23rd August on the Bugatti circuit.

The organisation has worked hard to welcome participants in the best possible safety conditions since the announcements at the end of June, authorising the resumption of cycling competitions or gatherings of less than 5000 people.

Romain Gasnal, for CGO Événement says: “It is therefore with great emotion and disappointment that we share this information with you. It is obviously a hard blow for the big family of Shimano 24 Hours Cycling: riders, visitors, partners, volunteers, providers and for our small team who has been working for months at office.”

Participants will be contacted about the modalities of cancellation of their registration and refund.
