Santini x Eroica reunite for 2026 with a collection that blends vintage soul and modern performance

Santini has renewed its partnership with L’Eroica for 2026, unveiling a new Santini x Eroica range that taps into the romance of heroic cycling while still delivering the comfort and technical performance riders now expect. The Italian brand says the collection is built for cyclists who see riding as passion, challenge and lifestyle, with the line spanning heritage-inspired wool pieces, contemporary riding kit and casual off-bike clothing.

At the heart of the launch is a wool line that leans heavily into Eroica’s nostalgic identity. Santini says the standout jerseys, Colnago and 29° Gaiole & Vino, use classic details including mother-of-pearl buttons on the rear pockets and metal zips, giving them the look and feel of traditional racing kit from cycling’s golden era. Crucially for devotees of the event, both jerseys are described as “Eroica Approved”, meaning they can be worn during Eroica events for a properly authentic period-correct appearance.

That old-school aesthetic is not confined to pure retro pieces. Santini is also pitching modern wool garments such as the Iris jersey, which combines merino wool with polyester to preserve a vintage look while improving day-to-day ride performance. It is a smart middle ground, aimed at riders who love the visual language of classic cycling but are less willing to compromise on moisture management and practicality.

The wool range is rounded out by shorts intended for long distances, an important detail given Eroica’s long hours in the saddle and mixed terrain. Santini has fitted these shorts with its GITevo chamois, featuring a gel core designed to boost comfort and protection, including on gravel roads. That technical insert suggests the collection is about more than simply dressing the part, it is also about making tough all-day rides more manageable.

Alongside the heritage pieces, Santini has built a full technical riding range for summer use. The Orcia jersey for men and the unisex Timo jersey are joined by the Timo baselayer, with the brand highlighting low weight, breathability and a slim fit as key features. Santini also points to performance-focused details such as technical fabrics for moisture management and silicone grippers at the hem, underlining that this side of the collection is aimed squarely at riders who want modern function wrapped in Eroica style.

Completing the on-bike line-up are the Vigna bib shorts, which are designed for medium to long distances. Santini says the shorts combine elastic compression, breathability and comfort, once again using the GITevo chamois with gel core. For riders who want one foot in the past and another in the present, the Vigna bibs look to be the most contemporary product in the range, offering a technical base to pair with either the more modern jerseys or the woollen tops.

Off the bike, Santini is pushing the Eroica identity as a lifestyle rather than just an event-day costume. The casual collection includes crew neck sweatshirts, Monte fleece jackets and cotton T-shirts for both adults and children, all designed to carry the Eroica look into everyday wear. Accessories also play a big role, with cycling and casual caps, gloves, neck warmers, socks and silk scarves all included in the wider range.

In practical terms, the pricing puts the collection firmly into premium territory, though broadly in line with what many riders would expect from a made-in-Italy brand with strong technical credentials. Recommended retail prices start at £30 for the Timo base layer and rise to £170 for the wool jerseys, with wool shorts at £150, the Iris jersey at £110, Orcia and Timo jerseys at £110, Vigna bib shorts at £130, sweatshirts at £65, T-shirts at £45 and fleece jackets at £90.

The collection will be available through Santini’s website, at Eroica events and via selected retailers. For a collaboration built on one of cycling’s most evocative names, that broad availability should help it reach both committed Eroica regulars and riders who simply want a taste of the sport’s heritage in their everyday kit choices.

Santini, founded in 1965 by Pietro Santini, says all of its garments are made in Italy and built around four principles: fit, performance, comfort and durability. With the 2026 Santini x Eroica collection, those values are being filtered through a very specific lens, one that celebrates gravel, suffering, style and the deep pull of cycling history. For riders drawn to the mythology of the sport, this looks like a collection designed to wear its story as proudly as its logos.
