Coming in fourth place on this list is the Trek Yoshimoto Nara which costs around $200,000. The bicycle, made of carbon fiber, adorns a fun and quirky appearance with a bright blue and yellow frame combined with beautiful illustrations.
The bicycle was sold in the same auction as the Butterfly Madone and was previously ridden by Lance Armstrong in some of the big cycling events.
3. 24K Gold Men’s Racing Bike – $393,000
You would think that a bike that’s mostly plated in gold would be the most expensive bicycle here, however, this bike is a handcrafted and gold-plated racing bicycle from Rolls Royce that comes in third place. Everything from the handlebars to the wheels and the seats is covered in 24K gold.

Though it may be beautiful, some animal rights activists called it barbaric due to the bike’s utilization of real butterfly wings.
