News

4 Charity events for you to take part in this year.

Giving back and doing your bit for charity is and will always be a rewarding experience, whether you choose to donate, volunteer, or raise money by yourself, there are plenty of ways to get stuck in and do your bit, and with cyclings ever-increasing popularity, charity bike rides are becoming more and more common. No matter your ability or cycling experience, there is a ride suited to everyone and we’ve put together a list of just some of the rides that you could participate in this year.

  1. Challenge 100

This challenge only has one rule, participants must complete at least 100 miles in less than 100 days. The rest is up to you, as with this challenge, you decide how you complete those 100 miles. You can walk, cycle, run, or even swim, as long as you meet the goal it doesn’t matter. Participants can sign up for a solo challenge or create a team made up of friends, family, or colleagues, and everyone who completes 100 miles will receive a Challenge 100 medal, and once you’ve raised your first £25 the team will send you a Challenge 100 t‑shirt.

3. Nightrider London

Passing by over 50 of London’s famous landmarks, Nightrider is a popular and unique way to explore the capital at night. Two routes are available for the event, a 100km and a 50km ride. Both of which are circular and start and finish in the same place, Lee Valley VeloPark. The 50km route will be an inner loop of the 100km route. The route is fully signposted throughout meaning you can cycle at your own pace, and as the event takes place on the 11th of June, hopefully, any cold and poor weather will be avoided.
